The Washington Capitals are facing off against the Arizona Coyotes at home this evening.
Puck drop will be right around 7PM and we only have one injury to report on for tonight.
Don’t look now, but the Washington Capitals are streaking. They’ll be playing to hopefully bring the streak to seven wins tonight when they face off against the Arizona Coyotes. The Capitals will officially welcome back Richard Panik to the lineup after missing ten games due to injury, just in time for him to face off against his former team. Guess you could say we no longer have a cause to panic! I would apologize for the puns, but it’s too easy. We’re all doing them, just get on board.
The puck will be dropping at 7PM and Peter will meet you back here for a recap.
The Caps have hit the road again and are down in Florida to take on the Panthers. The Capitals will be facing off against their former teammate Brett Connolly and there is a high chance of my emotions getting the best of me.
Puck drop is at 7 PM. Your recap will come from Julia!
On Tuesday, Capitals defenseman Radko Gudas tweeted out a photo of him and his son meeting Captain. Now, listen, the photo is of course sweet. A small child meeting a puppy? It’s the quintessential “cute” photo.
But, I’m here to let you know that there is an extra layer of adorable that you might have missed.
Harpers Ferry Brewing is a gorgeous brewery that sits on the Potomac River in Purcellville, Virginia. On Wednesday, the company announced that they will be releasing a new beer called “Sell the Team”.
The beer is an ode to the Brewery’s favorite football team and its owner Dan Snyder. The announcement came after the Washington Redskins’ record fell to 1-8 this season – the worst in the NFL.
Halloween was in full swing at the Oshie home Thursday. TJ Oshie and his daughters, Leni and Lyla, dressed up for trick-or-treating last night and went all out with some great costumes.
Oshie channeled Mr. Incredible while eldest daughter, Lyla, dressed like a wicked witch and Leni dressed as…a munchkin? Candy person? To be completely honest, I have no idea, but it’s Halloween so who cares!
Things seem to be getting better and better for Capitals defenseman John Carlson. After being named the second star of the week for October 14th-October 20th, the NHL officially named him the first start for the month of October.
Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak was named second star and Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl was named third star.
The Washington Capitals recalled Liam O’Brien from the Hershey Bears on Friday morning.
O’Brien is in Washington to possibly spell Nic Dowd or Evgeny Kuznetsov after the two centers were ruled ruled as day-to-day following injuries against the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday.
The Washington Capitals are finishing up their road trip in Toronto this evening. Puck drop is at 7PM and you can catch all the action on NBC Sports Washington.
Here are your injuries. No surprises here.
