Jay Beagle will be out six weeks with a broken forearm
Former Capital Jay Beagle was injured while blocking a shot during a game on Saturday. Reporters after the game speculated that he had broken a bone in his hand or wrist.
The Canucks head coach confirmed Monday that the hard-working center did indeed break his forearm blocking a shot.
According to TSN’s Bob McKenzie, Beagle left the Canucks road trip on Sunday and has returned to Vancouver for treatment.
They estimate that it will be six weeks before he returns.
