The Washington Capitals are hosting their Halloween Party tonight. These are their costumes.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to one of the greatest nights of the season. The Washington Capitals are holding their annual Halloween Party at the Russian restaurant Mari Vanna.

Technically, Halloween is this Wednesday, but since the Capitals will conclude their four-game road trip in Montreal Thursday night, they decided to hold the jamboree this evening. The team, perhaps strategically, also made Monday an off day.

This year’s costumes are awesome once again. Let’s review!

Leni Oshie is our pasta loving pal

“One day, the Leni Oshie content might not be good anymore. We should cherish what we have now,” I told myself one fine afternoon while scrolling through Lauren Oshie’s Instagram feed. Instead, something magical is happening. The content is only getting stronger.

Friday evening, we got another glimpse inside the life of the trendy toddler. Leni Rose knows how important it is to carb load before hittin’ the town (or hittin’ the road to her bed), so she was seen stuffing her face full of pasta.

Four Capitals players spent their off day at the rink being adorable

After losing their fourth preseason game to the Canes 5-1, the Capitals were given Saturday off to rest. That didn’t mean they stayed off the ice.

TJ Oshie and John Carlson were both at MedStar Capitals Iceplex with their children. Jakub Vrana and Andre Burakovsky skated with youth hockey players.

Lauren Oshie hosts Instagram Q&A full of excellent Lyla and Leni content

On Sunday evening, Lauren Oshie hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram account. Nothing appeared to be off limits, and over the course of a few hours she took the time to reply to several people who had submitted questions.

She discussed everything from having more children, the challenges of being married to an NHL player, how she and TJ Oshie first met, and what it was like to finally see the Capitals win the Stanley Cup.

TJ Oshie and Lauren Oshie attended Kevin Shattenkirk’s wedding over the weekend. Everyone looked amazing.

Former Capital Kevin Shattenkirk is now officially married to his longtime girlfriend Deanna Abbey after a gorgeous ceremony at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons.

Of course, there were many New York Rangers in attendance since Shattenkirk is currently a defensman on the squad, but TJ Oshie was also present with his wife Lauren and her sister Ally.

Oshie and Shattenkirk played five seasons in St. Louis together and were reunited on the Capitals squad last year. They also vacation together in spots like Turks and Caicos.

To say everyone looked incredible at the wedding would be a gross understatement.

TJ Oshie pops champagne, lifts inflatable Stanley Cup during vacation in Turks & Caicos

After winning the Stanley Cup for the first time in his career, Capitals forward TJ Oshie is continuing to celebration, albeit more muted, with his family in the Turks and Caicos. The Oshies are staying on the island of Providenciales, known locally as Provo.

The Oshies celebrate overtime playoff win with McDonald’s

Game Five ended in a Washington Capitals win. Celebrations are occurring all over the district, but in the Oshie household, there is a very special celebration since Papa TJ scored a goal.

After the overtime win, Lauren Oshie (a.k.a. “Mama”) got her adorable girls, Lyla and Leni, the ultimate victory food: McDonald’s.

Capitals players’ kids have brand new custom jackets for the 2017-18 playoffs

Heading into the 2016-17 playoffs, the Capitals wives and children wore custom jean jackets to support the team as they made the push for the Stanley Cup.

For the Capitals 2017-18 postseason run, Lauren Oshie and her sister, Ally Cosgrove, kept the tradition alive and gave the children’s jackets a bit of an upgrade.

Each jacket — pale pink leather for the girls, and black for the boys — appears to have had the word Daddy and their respective Dad’s number painted on by hand. They also feature custom patches, with phrases like, “Who’s your Daddy,” “Best Dad ever,” “Daddy’s Girl,” and “My ❤️ belongs to Daddy.”

TJ Oshie’s locker room interview adorably videobombed by daughters Lyla and Leni

Due to the crazy nor’easter winds, the Capitals Friday practice and family skate outdoors at the Naval Academy were cancelled. The team moved all Stadium Series preparation activities to Kettler, but the family fun wasn’t stopped.

After practice, TJ Oshie‘s two daughters, Lyla and Leni, videobombed his locker room interview. The two did not have a care in the world that their papa was busy, and it was truly adorable.
