The Oshie family just got one tiny human bigger. Lauren Oshie gave birth to the couple’s third child, their first boy, Campbell Richard Oshie.
The 8-pound, 5-ounce Campell was delivered on Monday, March 16, and his birthday is one day before his older sister, Lyla, who turned six years old today.

Capitals forward TJ Oshie, for instance, writes a heartfelt tribute on every one of his game sticks. TJ Oshie’s beer-chugging celebration became an instant classic after the Stanley Cup, and has been imitated but never duplicated.
The latest iteration is also the cutest: the Oshies had a baby shower for the son they’re expecting in March, and all the dads had a contest where they chugged beer through ‘slow flow’ baby bottles. Soon-to-be-mom-of-three Lauren Oshie documented the events on her Instagram. Also in attendance were teammates Nicklas Backstrom, Nick Jensen, and Nic Dowd.

It’s a boy! TJ and Lauren Oshie hold gender-reveal at Capitals training rink
In late August, the Oshies announced on Instagram that they were expecting their third child. On Monday, the Oshies held a gender reveal at MedStar Capitals Iceplex with some of their friends and teammates in attendance, including the Backstroms and Dowds.
