In late August, the Oshies announced on Instagram that they were expecting their third child. On Monday, the Oshies held a gender reveal at MedStar Capitals Iceplex with some of their friends and teammates in attendance, including the Backstroms and Dowds.
“@lauren.oshie and I are happy to announce the bun in the oven is a boy!” TJ Oshie wrote on Instagram. “Can wait to get this little guy in the locker room. Thanks to everyone who came out and shared the reveal with us! #OshieBabyBoy”
To reveal the news, TJ hit a puck that exploded into blue powder across the ice. Lauren also shot blue confetti to celebrate, while TJ carried his daughter, Leni, along the boards for high-fives.
We’re not sure who was more excited by the news, the Oshies, or Nicklas Backstrom.
Congratulations once again to the Oshie family. We think Timothy Jimothy Jr. would be a pretty awesome name for your baby boy.
