Michael Bublé rocks Capitals jersey during encore of DC concert

Michael Bublé is a hockey superfan and on Monday, when his Evening With Michael Bublé tour rolled through Capital One Arena, the Canadian singer saluted the Washington Capitals. Well, with some help from a friend.

During Bublé’s encore, former Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner, who was sitting near the stage, handed the four-time Grammy winner one of his jerseys.

Not only did Bublé, a Vancouver Canucks fan in real life, accept the gift, but he closed the show while wearing it.

Y’all, that’s got me Feeling Good and Some Kind Of Wonderful.

Federal Reserve chairman Jarome Powell is an ‘enormous fan’ of the Washington Capitals, owns an Alex Ovechkin jersey

CBS’s Scott Pelley did a feature on Federal Reserve chairman Jarome Powell for 60 Minutes on Sunday. The head of the US central banking system spoke about the economy, how high he thinks unemployment may go, and what outcomes he’s trying to avoid during the coronavirus pandemic.

During the chat, Pelly revealed that Powell is an “enormous fan” of the Washington Capitals and showed footage of the Fed Chair and his wife Elissa Leonard taking their seats for a home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Powell rocks a red Alex Ovechkin jersey.

Country singer Eric Church rocks Capitals jersey during soldout show at The Anthem

Eric Church performed two soldout shows at The Anthem over the weekend. During country music singer’s final concert at the Wharf venue, Church rocked a white Capitals jersey.

The sweater had CHURCH and the number 19 stitched on the back. Many Capitals fans on social media freaked out upon seeing Church rock a sweater of their favorite team.

Washington Redskins’ cornerback Quinton Dunbar rocks Capitals jersey ahead of preseason game against Bengals

Quinton Dunbar arrived to Thursday’s Redskins-Bengals preseason game looking very champion-y if you ask us.

The Redskins cornerback rocked a Capitals home jersey, which was customized with his former number, 47, and his last name.

The Redskins and NBC 4 Washington had video of him arriving to the game.

DJ Pauly D wore an Alex Ovechkin jersey during his concert at Echostage

If you thought you smelled spray-tan in the air in the District last weekend, you were right.

DJ Pauly D played a show at Echostage on Friday night. And the fist-pumping, gym-tan-laundry-going Jersey Shore alum wore Caps red because apparently T-shirt Time means putting on your favorite Alex Ovechkin jersey.

Indiana Pacers’ All-Star Victor Oladipo is at the Caps game rocking the red

There’s a who’s who of local celebrities at Capital One Arena for Game Three of the Stanley Cup Final. That includes NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo, a native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Oladipo played high school basketball at DeMatha.

Oladipo was spotted in a custom Caps jersey, doing interviews before the game.

Tom Wilson and Brett Connolly go to Grace VanderWaal concert at 9:30 Club

After participating in a charity event at TopGolf Wednesday afternoon, Washington Capitals forwards Tom Wilson and Brett Connolly made their way downtown to catch a special concert at the 9:30 Club.

14-year-old musician Grace VanderWaal, the 2016 winner of America’s Got Talent, was performing a stop on her Just Beginning tour and the two hockey players got a VIP experience.

After taking the show in on the balcony, the two players, including their significant others Katrina Connolly and Taylor Pischke, met Grace backstage.

Evgeny Kuznetsov gives Wizards star Bradley Beal a signed Caps jersey

Friday night after the Caps beat the Penguins 4-1, Evgeny Kuznetsov posted a fun photo on his personal Instagram account.

The Russian center presented Wizards superstar Bradley Beal with his very own signed Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey: “To Brad my man, Evgeny Kuznetsov.” The exchange happened in the parking deck underneath the Capital One Arena.

Of course the Big Panda and Kuzy of course smiled for a photo together.
