In random Caps celebrity news, recent call-up Steve Oleksy presented NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon with a personalized Washington Capitals jersey.

Gordon now joins the ranks of former Capitals Aaron Volpatti, Kris Beech, and Matt Cooke to sport the number 24.

Gordon was at Verizon Center to see the Washington Wizards take on the San Antonio Spurs. He even participated in a bicycle race during the game.
