Friday night after the Caps beat the Penguins 4-1, Evgeny Kuznetsov posted a fun photo on his personal Instagram account.
The Russian center presented Wizards superstar Bradley Beal with his very own signed Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey: “To Brad my man, Evgeny Kuznetsov.” The exchange happened in the parking deck underneath the Capital One Arena.
Of course the Big Panda and Kuzy of course smiled for a photo together.
“🏀🏀🏀 my man 👋,” wrote Kuznetsov on Instagram.
It’s unclear if the jersey exchanged happened after the Caps-Pens game or the night before. Kuznetsov attended the Wizards-Lakers game Thursday with friends.
Kuznetsov has attended many DC basketball games in the past, sometimes along with former housemate and fellow countryman Alex Ovechkin.
Three years ago, Kuzy even took a photo in front of Paul Pierce’s stall and later met the future Hall of Famer outside the locker room.
He also once met former Bullets center Gheorghe Mureșan along with Ovi.
Kuznetsov’s jersey exchange wasn’t the only sweater swap that happened this weekend. Tom Wilson also gave a jersey to Redskins running back Chris Thompson after the Caps-Pens game.
