The Washington Capitals travel to the Prudential Center to meet with the now Taylor Hall-less New Jersey Devils for the first time since the big trade. These new Devils are even worse than before, so a win should be required from our favorite road boys.
Puck drop is at 7PM and ya boy right here will be back with da recap.

900th game of the Ovi-Backy connection
Ian wrote about the milestone of sorts, so check that post out first. But, I think the video of them talking about is awesome and a must watch for any Caps fan.

This bromance video with overdramatic music and some audio issues is the best.

Chris’ favorite television shows of 2019
Preface, these are definitely not all shows that came out in 2019…I just watched them in 2019.
- The Mandalorian. I mean come on now. This is like my favorite Stars Wars “thing” of all time at this point. It’s samurai western film meets bounty hunter goodness and it has gosh darn Baby Yoda and maybe…Boba Fett?.
- ENCORE!. Yes, another Disney Plus show. The premise of this one is that they get together a group of 1990s-ish high school graduates that were in a musical back then and make them do the musical all over again now. It’s surprisingly funny and touching.
- Barry. HBO’s turn and the show I turned to after Game of Thrones imploded into that horrific mess that it became. Bill Hader plays a depressed hitman from the Midwest who goes to Los Angeles to carry out a hit, but instead finds a new passion for acting.
- Mindhunter. I loved season one and season two was even better. This is such an underrated, incredibly dark show. If you love true crime and haven’t watched the two seasons yet, you don’t love true crime.
- Black Sails. I started Black Sails a few years back and just finished it up recently. Probably one of the most underrated shows of the decade. Pirates, 18th century Caribbean, twists, turns, betrayal, treasure. All great.
