TJ Oshie did not play in the Washington Capitals’ 3-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. But, it was for a very good reason as he flew home to be with his wife Lauren who was expecting the birth of their fourth child.
Today, the couple announced that Lauren gave birth to their third daughter Lucy on Wednesday. Lauren posted photos of their new baby girl on Instagram.

The Dowd family just got one bundle of joy bigger.
Wednesday, Paige Dowd delivered the couple’s first girl. They named her Ruby James Elizabeth Dowd.

Today, the couple posted photos of their baby girl and announced the name of their new bundle of joy: Naomie Mae Mantha.

The Jensen family just got one bundle of joy bigger.
“Leon Theodore Jensen joined us today. We love you little Leo ♥️,” Jenner Jensen wrote on Instagram.
Anthony Mantha, who is already really strong, will soon have dad strength.
Sunday, Mantha’s fiancee, Caitlyn Duffy, announced that she was pregnant with a baby girl.
The two made the reveal while Anthony hit a golf ball with a golf club. The ball exploded revealing a pink powder in the air.
Capitals goaltender Zach Fucale had some big news to share on Monday. He is now a father.
Fucale announced the arrival of his son Teo on Instagram, Monday.
“Teo was smart enough to wait for dad to come back from the 3 day roadtrip and to let mom keep her birthday,” Fucale wrote. “Everyone is healthy. Mom is a warrior. Incredible night. Truly is the best feeling in the world. Welcome Teo. ❤️❤️”
Karine’s birthday was on Sunday. According to BabyNames.com, Teo is primarily of Italian origin that means Divine Gift.
Michal Kempny may be out for the 2020-21 season due to a torn Achilles, but now he’ll have something to keep him very busy other than his rehab.
Monday afternoon, Kempny shared a photo of his new son, Adam, who was born earlier today.
“Adam Kempny ❤️ January 4th 2021,” wrote the Capitals defenseman.

Mike Green’s family is getting bigger.
Friday morning, the former Capitals defenseman announced that his wife Courtney is pregnant with the couple’s third child, a boy. Courtney wrote on Instagram that the due date of her second is in May 2021.
Gina Carlson announced on Wednesday that she gave birth to the couple’s third boy, Sawyer John Carlson, on Monday, November 30 at 11:30 am. Sawyer was eight pounds, nine ounces.
Gina posted eight photos of Sawyer swaddled. In some pics, he’s sleeping. In others, he’s yawning or looking at the camera.
“My littlest Say Say, I am so in love with you👼🤍” Gina wrote.
Carl Hagein is now a father of two.
On Sunday, Hags introduced his Instagram followers to his new son Tage.
