Charlie Lindgren got the gift of some incoming dad strength for Christmas.
Charlie and his wife Mikkayla are expecting their first child. Mikkayla announced the news with a post on her Instagram, Wednesday.
“Spreading a little extra Christmas cheer this year 🎄🎀💗,” she wrote in the caption.
The couple, who have been married since 2021, shared photos of the 30-year-old netminder posing next to Mikkayla and her baby bump and an ultrasound they turned into a tree ornament.
Capitals players Tom Wilson, Connor McMichael, Hendrix Lapierre, Dylan Strome, and Jakob Chychrun are among the many who have liked the Instagram post.
