Monumental Sports Network host and all-around Super Media Woman, Alexa Landestoy, announced some big news on Monday.
Alexa and her husband Michael Landestoy are expecting their first child.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret!!!🤭,” Alexa wrote on Instagram. “We have never felt more excited or blessed to announce our greatest adventure yet — Baby Landestoy joining our team in 2025!!!🥹 We can’t wait to welcome our new little MVP!!!🧸🍼”
“So happy for this incredible couple,” Alan May, her partner on the Capitals pregame and postgame shows, said on his Instagram Story.
Alexa, originally from Valencia, California, first moved to DC from Texas in 2019, where she was previously a sideline reporter for Fox Sports Southwest. Her first role in DC as a co-host of “DC Sports Live,” a multi-platform sports talk and entertainment program for NBC Sports Washington.
She later began her current role with the renamed Monumental Sports Network in 2021 as host of the Washington Capitals pregame and postgame shows. Since then, she’s expanded her footprint, hosting Capitals Red Line and other special events for the Capitals. When time allows, Alexa also contributes coverage to the NHL and NHL Network.
