The Capitals have ventured down to Raleigh, North Carolina to face the Hurricanes in the first away game of the series. This will be the first home playoff game in almost ten years for the Hurricanes, so I think we can all anticipate quite a rowdy crowd. The Capitals will need to ignore the noise, or let it fuel them, while they try to bring the series to a 3-0 lead.
Puck drop is at 7 PM, and you can stream the game using the My Teams app. Recap will be provided by Peter Hassett.

Projected Lines
We mentioned this morning there is a slight shakeup with Jakub Vrana moving to the second line:
Ovechkin – Backstrom – Wilson
Vrana – Kuznetsov – Oshie
Hagelin – Eller – Connolly
Burakovsky – Dowd – Stephenson
Carlson – Jensen
Orlov – Niskanen
Orpik – Djoos
Holtby
Micah’s Crab
Day five! The Capitals are at 9%, but if we’ve learned anything in the past…it’s best to keep that pressure light. It might only be 9%, but it’s OUR 9%!

Baby Shark
After Ryan Reaves and Evander Kane dropped the gloves last night during Game Three, T-Mobile Arena decided to have a little fun (or should I say “fin”) play “Baby Shark”. It continues to hold up as a BOP for the ages. Also, it’s fun to hear the arena basically call Kane a baby.
