Michal Kempny is continuing his recovery after suffering a freakish injury in the winter.
The Czech defenseman tore his left hamstring during a March 20 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Kempny underwent season-ending surgery nearly two weeks later on April 2 and would be out four-to-six months.
Less than four months after going under the knife, Kempny is running the steps of DRFG Arena – the home of his former Czech league team, HC Kometa Brno.
A shirtless Kempny showed off his progress on Instagram.
