Friday night, Alex Ovechkin was honored before the Caps-Islanders game for scoring 600 goals. Hockey Hall of Famers Jari Kurri, Luc Robitaille, Brendan Shanahan, Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, and Jarome Iginla all extended their congratulations and officially welcomed the Russian machine to the 600 club.
On Saturday, the Capitals were given the day off and this is how Ovechkin spent his day.

Wearing a headset and shirtless, Ovechkin played the XBOX game Fortnite with his friend Gus. He’s apparently slaying the competition because he’s screaming at the top of his lungs in celebration.
This is the new greatest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

This is just another reminder that Ovi’s just like you and me – the only difference is that he’s really really good at the hockey.
