The Caps’ Rookies Would Like You to Know They’re Having a Good Time Playing Hockey in Florida

This week, Caps rookies have been participating in a prospect tournament in Estero, Florida, along with three other NHL teams: the Florida Panthers, the Nashville Predators and the Tampa Bay Lightning. So far, the baby Caps have a 1-1 record, falling 2-1 against Florida Saturday and winning 5-2 Sunday against the Bolts.

Today, the prospects got a much needed day off before their final game Tuesday and spent it relaxing in the sun at Naples Beach. Liam O’Brien posted the above photo on Instagram with the caption, “We’re here for hockey.”
