Saturday, Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin celebrated his bachelor party with an entourage that included the newly re-signed Dmitry Orlov. The same day, Nastya Ovechkina went out with her closest friends, including Orlov’s wife Varvara Orlova, to celebrate her bachelorette party.
Ovechkina, of course, was thrilled, when she saw the decorations: cartoon sheep made of flowers.

For the first time publicly, Alex Ovechkin and Nastya Ovechkina confirmed they are holding their wedding this summer. Saturday afternoon, Nastya posted two photos on her Instagram account, thanking the various vendors that helped make the couple’s “special pre-wedding video.”
Alex Ovechkin and wife Nastya Ovechkina are currently vacationing with friends in Sochi, Russia.
Friday night, the lovely couple sang karaoke with friends and I’d like to take a moment to point out which song Nastya chose to sing.
Alex Ovechkin stripped down and jumped in a suspended wooden tub of scalding hot water, all in the name of good fun Thursday.
Ovechkin, who traveled to Sochi with his wife Nastya, ended his evening at Bansk — an exclusive Russian bayna (sauna) and day spa.
On August 26, 2016, Alex Ovechkin and his fiancee Nastya Shubskaya announced they were married. Holding hands and wearing wedding rings, the two lovers confirmed the news with an Instagram post. “This is happiness,” Ovechkin wrote. The news was corroborated by a Washington Capitals spokesman.
Nastya changed her last name to Ovechkina on Instagram, but no photos of the wedding surfaced. Now we may know why. Judging by a recent Instagram post, Alex and Nastya are holding their actual wedding this summer.
On Monday, Alex Ovechkin and wife Nastya blessed us with another ridiculous video of their dog Blake. This time, while at Dulles Airport in Virginia, Nastya filmed her hubby struggling to put Blake into a camouflage onesie.

Two days after watching his season end prematurely against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and his grotesquely bruised thigh attended Game Six of the Washington Wizards’ second-round series against the Boston Celtics. Ovechkin nabbed courtside seats and was joined at the game by his wife Nastya Ovechkina, his older brother Mikhail Ovechkin, and his close friend Gus.
The Wizards, who were down 3-2 and facing elimination, won 92-91 after John Wall nailed a clutch three over Avery Bradley with 3.5 seconds left.
Friday morning, Alex Ovechkin confirmed that he was suffering from a knee and hamstring injuries during the playoffs, the latter of which affected him the most.
A few hours later, we got a better idea of just how bad that hamstring injury was. Ovechkin’s wife Nastya shared a photo on Instagram of what appears to be Ovechkin’s injured leg.
Looks like the Capitals are throwing it back to the ’80s for this playoff run. Several of the Caps girlfriends, wives, and daughters will be sporting custom jean jackets to root on their men.
TJ Oshie’s wife Lauren got two jackets for the couple’s daughters Lyla and Leni. The tiny jackets both say “Daddy” and sport #77 on the back. They’re also decorated with patches that pay homage to the team, the capital, and the good ol’ days where people slapped peace signs on everything.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is really good at scoring goals, but in real life, he is a normal human being just like us. He wears Nike shirts, spends his free time playing fetch with his dog, and drives his own car(s). And over the weekend, the Russian machine put on his best sweatpants and ambled over to the local Bed Bath & Beyond with his wife Nastya. Somehow he wasn’t mobbed for autographs and photos every time he walked past an aisle.
