The Washington Capitals are dispersed all across North America for their bye week. The team’s captain, Alex Ovechkin, is spending his six day and seven-night stay with his wife Nastya on Sunny Isles Beach in Miami.
Staying high atop a hotel with an oceanview, the Ovechkins celebrated Valentine’s Day at the beach in the morning, playing cards and drinking champagne. Later things turned romantic with a surprise from Alex to his wife.
Chronicling her day in an Instagram story, Nastya shows her husband reading a Russian language book on the beach before dealing cards and drinking champagne.
Later in the day, Ovechkin tweeted a cute photo of the two together with a caption that reads, “You are my Valentine !! love you very much !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
