TJ Oshie declares tomorrow a ‘cheat day’ after scoring two goals virtually 🍩🍩

Digi TJ Oshie scored twice against the New York Rangers on Thursday.

And you guys, just because the performance was in the digital world, doesn’t mean Oshie’s donut tradition has to end. After the game, the Osh Babe declared tomorrow is a “cheat day.”

Oshie scored twice in the third period forcing virtual David Quinn to pull Henrik Lundqvist for Alexandar Georgiev.

Bye, Hank!

Oshie scored on the next play.

Oshie’s donut tradition dates back to early February. Before a game against the New York Islanders, Oshie’s youngest daughter, Leni, tried to inspire dad with a sweet treat.

“I will get you a… donut!” Leni said.

“A donut? What do I have to do to get a donut?” Oshie said back.

“Score GOAL!”

Later that night, Oshie scored on the powerplay.

The next morning he cashed in.

Hopefully, tomorrow, TJ and all Caps fans will too.
