Monday afternoon, Lauren Oshie (who is the most famous person on the Capitals – don’t @ me) posted a video of a priceless interaction between Leni and TJ before the Capitals’ game against the New York Islanders.
Leni wanted papa to score goals in consecutive games and was willing to add in a prize to make it happen.
The conversation goes like this.
Leni: I just… I will get you a… donut!
TJ: A donut? What do I have to do to get a donut?
Leni: Score GOAL!
TJ: How many goals?
Leni: Just one.
TJ: Just one. Okay. I’ll try. Love you.
Leni: Can I have one more kiss?
TJ: One more kiss? MUAH.
TJ scored his 20th goal of the season in the Capitals’ 7-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
