Update, 11 AM: Jay Beagle will not play today. - Out of 385 forwards with at least 100 five-on-five minutes, Beagle has the second worst difference between his team’s shot share when he’s on the ice versus off the ice. His teammate, JT Miller, has the league’s best difference.
- Garnet Hathaway with an all-timer quote about his suspension.
- Nick Backstrom is still recovering from an upper-body injury.
- The Caps have recalled Christian Djoos, though he is not expected to play.
