The Washington Nationals went to the Washington Capitals game last night. The World Series champions, in the presence of such great partiers, let go of their inhibitions and the game became a wild house party. There was drinking, there was celebrating, and there was lots of half nudity.
So obviously, the best way to end the night was to let these players out on the ice, which is slippery, and let them play a dangerous sport that is new and foreign to them.
The Nationals played hockey, you guys.
The players took slap shots and fell over spectacularly. Trea Turner slid on the ice in his shoes. One daring player decided to play goalie as his teammates wildly shot the puck at him. Brian Dozier came out on the ice shirtless and played in spandex shorts only. Several Nats tried to fight each other multiple times, pulling their jerseys over their heads. The players even attempted to line up in a face-off formation and seemed confused as to what to do next.
It’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen.

Jakub Vrana wandered out from the Capitals locker room and shot video from the bench.
The most impressive player easily was Adam Eaton, who previously lived in Chicago and loves the sport.
