Guess who’s back, back again? Kuzy’s back, tell a friend. The Washington Capitals are hosting the Dallas Stars this evening at Capital One Arena and Evgeny Kuznetsov is finally back in the lineup. Missed his big smile, his bird celly, all of it. Missed him, love him :….)
Puck drops around 7 PM. Chris will deliver you a gorgeous recap right after the game.

I know, I know. This is the pregame to get you to tune in to the Capitals game this evening. But, an hour after the puck drop for the Capitals, the tip-off for the Washington Mystics game will commence. They will play for their first WNBA title and I cannot STRESS to you all how rad this is gonna be.
Do yourself a favor and tee up both the Capitals game and the Mystics game so you can flip back and forth. Check out the Capitals wishing them good luck. And here’s a great Players’ Tribune piece from Bradley Beal:
“D.C., I love you. Mystics, I rock with you.”
We asked @RealDealBeal23 to file a WNBA Finals report.
He went in. https://t.co/jwGc6hKJbG

Storylines
- Evgeny Kuznetsov is back in the lineup and this is his chance.
- The Pittsburgh Penguins have a BOATLOAD of injuries and that super sucks. I’m dead serious, I hate watching an injured Penguins team. I only want to battle at full strength.
- There is going to be a free watch party at Nats Park for Game Five and there is NO DOUBT in my mind that place is going to be insane. Make sure you reserve your tickets.
- These boots Nic Dowd was wearing during the Canine Calendar photoshoot? My heart exploded.
- I love when RMNB takes the fashion beat. Here are the best and worst dressed of the Capitals Red Carpet.
- Support Evgeny Kuznetsov tonight by doing the bird celly!
- Capitals Canine Calendar Photos. That’s it. That’s all I gotta say.
- We’re not saying Alex Ovechkin throwing out the first pitch at the Nats game was good luck…but we’re also not NOT saying…
- Travis Boyd cleared waivers. He’s been loaned to the Hershey Bears.
- Of course, Martin Fehervary was sent back down to Hershey, but you should definitely look at his first three NHL games as total successes.
- Curious about how the Dallas Stars are lining up tonight?

Crocheting in Kansas
Okay, I just read a super great story written by Nicole Auerbach for The Athletic about this girl that went viral during a Kansas college football game. Here is the moment she went viral:

She is hilarious, this is an excerpt from the interview:

Anyway, I strongly recommend you read the whole thing. Turns out she founded an organization and makes her clothing to help the homeless in the town. I love this girl.
