The Washington Capitals are at home tonight and will be facing off against the Philadelphia Flyers. Seems like the only good thing about the Flyers these days is their mascot, Gritty (I don’t want to hear any Gritty slander, please keep it to yourself). Not only are they going to tie the NHL record by starting their seventh different goaltender this season, but their losing streak has now reached seven games. On the Capitals side, they will need to stay on their toes while Nicklas Backstrom stays a game-time decision due to illness.

It’s not a surprise at all, but I’m here to report that PK Subban continues to be a superhero. A user on reddit began a thread yesterday that mentioned, “My 13 year old son has been dealing with a lot of racist taunts this year.
