Ted Leonsis invited Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, to his day with the Stanley Cup

Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter lent her support to the Capitals during their successful playoff run, and over the weekend, she got a deserving invite.

Carter is a longtime Capitals fan (and apparent RMNB reader), and joined Ted Leonsis for a Cup party at his home.

Philip Pritchard, the Keeper of the Cup, posted the photo on Instagram (and later deleted it). The caption read “Lynda Carter @reallyndacarter popped by Ted Leonsis’ place over the weekend. She just can’t get enough of the Stanley Cup.”

When she’s not rocking the gold and red superhero costume, Lynda usually trades it in for a Nicklas Backstrom jersey. Earlier this summer, Carter and Backstrom met and presented together at the NHL awards.

Lynda also participated in a fountains celebration segment featuring Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin.
