Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom were in Las Vegas for the 2018 NHL Awards. Backstrom helped present the NHL General Manager of the Year Award to George McPhee while Alex Ovechkin announced Taylor Hall of the 2018 Hart Trophy.
Before that, however, the two Capitals forwards were in the Fountains of Bellagio celebrating with the Stanley Cup.

Capitals fan Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman, set up the segment when she couldn’t locate Ovechkin or Backstrom in their seats. And then the video cuts to Ovi and Backstrom at another location.
“LYNDA, WE FOUND FOUNTAINS,” Ovechkin screams.
“Start the music,” a smiley Nicklas Backstrom says.
Ovechkin and Backstrom then jump up and down with the Stanley Cup as the Fountains of Bellagio shoot high into the sky.
The bit was a play off Ovechkin and several inebriated teammates swimming in a foot of water at the Georgetown Waterfront.
The outtakes video the Capitals share is special and must see.
