Washington Post Express’s ‘Give ’em the bird, Kuzy’ spread is a mood for Game Five

Game Five of the Stanley Cup Final could prove to be one of the biggest in Capitals franchise history. The entire DMV area — and beyond — is standing behind them, including the Washington Post Express, who published an incredible spread in Thursday’s Stanley Cup Final edition of their paper.

“Give ’em the bird, Kuzy” is an eternal mood for Game Five, and this series, if ever we saw one.

The spread includes Kuznetsov’s now-iconic bird celly, as well as the Weagle tearing the Vegas crest in half. When you’ve got a theme, stick to the theme.

If nothing else, it should prove to be an awesome keepsake, should the Capitals do the thing at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday.
