After 15 dreary minutes of Vegas domination in Game One, the Caps have come alive. Leading the way are Brett Connolly and Nicklas Backstrom, each recording their fifth goal of the playoffs.

This time, Fallon covered players from only the two final teams which gave us more superlatives for Capitals players including Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, Jay Beagle, Jakub Vrana, Brett Connolly, and Philipp Grubauer.
Life has returned to Capital One Arena as Brett Connolly kicked off the Caps’ comeback bid with a big goal in the second period.
The Tampa Bay Lightning scored two power-play goals in the first period after officials whistled the Capitals for two questionable calls, giving the Bolts a 2-1 lead going into intermission. The Caps did not wilt or feel sorry for themselves. Instead, they came back with a vengeance.
Two minutes and fifty seconds into the second period, Alex Chiasson hit Devante Smith-Pelly to tie the game 2-2. The Capitals would later strike twice in the second period’s final minute-and-two-seconds to take a 4-2 lead into the break. The Lightning came out sluggish and defeated in the third period. The Capitals poured it on.
In total, the Capitals scored five unanswered goals after falling behind in the first period. This team is playing with confidence. It has a killer instinct and going for the jugular. This is beautiful hockey.
EDM artist Kygo performed two huge shows at The Anthem on Monday and Tuesday. Kygo’s second show had a bit of a Caps flavor.
The night after the Capitals beat the Pittsburgh Penguins and advanced to the third round for the first time in two decades, Kygo held up a custom-stitched number 91 Caps jersey to the crowd.
Capitals forward Brett Connolly just joined Jakub Vrana with an NHL first of his own.
After being sprung on a breakaway, Connolly beat Matt Murray over the glove for his first career playoff goal.
After going viral, Keelan Moxley was a special guest during the Capitals Game Five at Capital One Arena, Saturday.
From meeting owner Ted Leonsis before puck drop, sitting in complimentary seats on the glass, and receiving a signed stick from Brett Connolly, Keelan certainly had a big night.
It was made even more special after the overtime win.

Viral sensation Keelan Moxley was an honored guest of the Washington Capitals during Game Five.
Keelan and her family met with Capitals majority owner Ted Leonsis before puck drop and Uncle Ted gave her a very sweet surprise.
The story of Keelan Moxley, the girl that Brett Connolly tried to throw a puck to and was thwarted, multiple times, has spread far and wide across the internet.
On Thursday, ahead of Game Four in Columbus, Connolly addressed the media with his thoughts on what happened during that now-famous warmup.

On Sunday, Brett Connolly attempted to throw a puck to an adorable girl watching warmups on the glass. Connolly was thwarted, twice, in getting the puck to the girl — and got a little heated in the process — by an adult who passed the thrown pucks to two boys standing on either side of the girl.
Since then, more details have emerged about what exactly went down ahead of Game Two, as well as some more gestures of kindness from the Capitals organization towards the girl and her family.
