Drafted sixth overall in 2010, Connolly has been a low-key but dependable depth asset for Tampa and Boston since 2012.

Connolly had a career year last season, scoring nine goals and tallying 25 points – all career highs. However he also only received 24 seconds of ice time shorthanded with the Boston Bruins.
