After going scoreless during his first four games in the NHL, talented Caps prospect Jakub Vrana now has three points in his last three games. On Friday, Vrana scored his first NHL goal after a beautiful setup by Evgeny Kuznetsov.
Tuesday night in Brooklyn, Vrana authored his first NHL multipoint game of his career. 2:09 into the second period, Vrana tallied his first NHL assist, receiving a secondary apple on Brett Connolly’s first period goal.
The dude was absolutely pumped.

Vrana perfectly chipped a backhanded pass off the boards to Eller, who eventually found Connolly hustling to the net.
Connolly’s reaction was muted while Vrana’s mind was completely blown.
This face is my everything.
5:28 later, Vrana got the primary assist on Justin Williams’ sixth goal of the season.

Just like on Friday, Evgeny Kuznetsov found Vrana (though I’m not sure that’s who he was originally passing to) wide open in the slot. The puck deflected off Williams and into the back of the net.
According to NHL.com’s Tom Gulitti, Vrana’s parents were likely watching in Prague – a six-hour time difference.
“Because there’s a game every second day and they watch every game, they’re not sleeping,” Vrana said. “Obviously, I’m happy to see them happy.”
Vrana’s parents particularly were happy after seeing him score his first NHL goal in a 4-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday. That power-play goal also turned out to be the game-winner.
“They were watching,” Vrana said. “They were very excited.”
Vrana’s parents, obviously, didn’t want to miss his first goal but they’re not planning to stop watching now that he’s scored it.
“We’ll see how it’s going to go in the future, but they will watch every game,” Vrana said. “They watched every game when I played in Hershey (of American Hockey League) too, so it doesn’t matter.”
Keep up the good work, kid. The smile’s a good look.
