The Capitals held a toy drive Sunday afternoon before their game against the Anaheim Ducks. Fans were encouraged to bring new, unwrapped presents which would go to the Salvation Army.
Inside the arena, the Capitals players also participated in the toy drive. As players entered the dressing room, most of them dropped off bags of toys. But when Alex Ovechkin came down the hallway he was holding a giant teddy bear. Some might even say a teddy bear as big as Nathan Walker.

Fans who donated received a Lars Eller poster, some of which would be autographed.
Ovechkin would have been right at home at the Hershey Bears Teddy Bear Toss tonight, where the Bears broke the record for number of stuffed animals thrown.
Head coach Todd Reirden also joined in the charitable effort by donating a giant Barbie chest.
