The Washington Capitals were blitzed by the New Jersey Devils 5-3 on Opening Night. Now, in their fourth game of the season, they’ll look to avenge that loss in Jersey.

Logan Thompson will get his second start in goal while the Caps will remain with the same lines.

Ovechkin somehow managed to deflect the puck with either his stick or skate and chunk the puck past Markstrom. It’s Ovi’s 854th of his career.

At intermission: The Capitals are dominating early. They outshot the Devils 17 to 10 and out-attempted them 26 to 15 at five-on-five.
