The week is kicking off with the Capitals at home playing host to the Carolina Hurricanes. That’s it! All done with the Canes after tonight! This is the fourth and final regular season rumble between these two teams. Such a weird schedule, but hopefully the Capitals can pull out a win tonight to finish the Canes series tied up at 2-2.
Puck drop is at 7:00 PM. The recap will be coming to you from Peter Hassett.

This is one of my favorite things I’ve seen all year. Reminds me of a fight scene in a movie where everyone just happens to know where the other person is? I don’t know, I chalk it up to wizardry.

This past weekend was huge for football with some exciting playoff games. It was also a huge weekend for two people in particular that some of us are used to seeing every football Sunday. Former coaches and current broadcasters Jimmy Johnson and Bill Cowher were surprised on live TV that they were the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Take a look, I dare you not to cry.
Incredible moment.

Apparently Twitter is toying with the idea of allowing users to send each other money. Not sure if you’ll catch me hookin’ my credit card up to my twitter account, but the thought of getting some change for a bad pun tweet? Might be a pretty promising career situation for me!
