Connor McMichael is at it again. No, you aren’t seeing things. This isn’t the post from last night where he potted three goals against the Saginaw Spirit to earn his fourth hat trick of the season.
The Caps 2019 first round pick and recent gold medal winner with Team Canada pulled yet another trick out of his bag Sunday against the Soo Greyhounds.
After London Knights defenseman Hunter Skinner pings the post with a shot, the puck gets filtered up towards the blueline where Luke Evangelista finds it, feeds McMichael, and the rest is history. Check those hands out. The between-the-legs marker is McMichael’s 30th goal of the season in 30 OHL games played.

Prior to that marvelous finish, McMichael’s first goal of the game featured his quick hands sliding a rebound from an Alec Regula shot past the Greyhounds netminder.

He would add an additional point through a power play assist to give him five goals and seven total points in three games since returning from the World Juniors.
