Connor McMichael went from hockey player to full-blown Hockey Guy over the summer.
While attending the St. Louis Blues’ annual Blues for Kids Golf Classic on Monday, McMichael revealed a new smile where his front teeth are mysteriously missing.
The startling revelation came in a video published by the Blues, where players came up with sound effects for their swings as they made their way around the Bellerive Country Club.
As Michael chuckled at the prompt, he showed off a massive hole where his two front teeth used to reside. McMichael went with an incredibly high-pitched “dink” sound effect for his swing.

The enforcer-esque smile is a recent development, as when The Savior left the Washington Capitals in a trade to the Blues, he brought all of his teeth with him.
McMichael first debuted in Blues colors during an informal skate earlier this month. He’s one of several notable new additions to the team this season, including Mason McTavish, Brandon Carlo, Cam Fowler, and Ross Johnston.
McMichael will wear number 77 with the Blues this season, reminding Capitals fans instantly of TJ Oshie. Now, with his gap-toothed smile, he’ll also remind people of Alex Ovechkin.
