It’s the final game before a baby holiday break and the Capitals are in Boston to face off against the Bruins. This is the third and final time the teams will meet this regular season and, tonight, the Bruins will be without Zdeno Chara. Hopefully, the Caps can finish this out with a win and sweep the series.
Puck drop is at 7PM and Pete will meet you back here for a recap.

Elyse’s favorite television shows of 2019
Keeping with the tradition of listing our favorite things of the year, I’m stealing one of Chris’ recent lists and telling you my favorite television shows of 2019! I love TV very much:
- Succession. I know a lot of people that couldn’t get into this and I am telling you, you need to stick it out. Once you get through the first few episodes, it takes off. Season 2 is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on television.
- Fleabag. I watched both series one and series two in one sitting. It’s quick, smart, funny, and incredibly well written.
- Ozark. I wanted to try and push through a larger, popular series like The Wire, The Sopranos, or Mad Men (2020 goals) but I gave this a whirl because I heard a lot of great things. I was not disappointed. Oh my god. The character development, the acting, it’s all so good.
- The Crown (Season 3). You all already knew this was going to be on here. The new cast had me worried, but it was flawless. I loved the new cast and the plot lines they worked with were great.
- Lucifer. Okay, hear me out lmao. I recently got laid off and got thrown into a large depression spiral. I meant to click on the show next to this one and ended up just not changing it. This was fun and exactly what I needed.
