Caps vs Canadiens pregame: Point streak party

The Washington Capitals take their 13 game point streak into action against the Montreal Canadiens tonight at Capital One Arena. The Caps will also be looking to sustain their 8-0-1 record against Eastern Conference opposition this season.

They’ll drop the puck at 7 PM and you’re stuck with me on recap again.

The Caps have some injury woes and have called up defenseman Tyler Lewington from Hershey. They will be rolling with only 11 forwards tonight to go along with seven defensemen:

Ovechkin – Backstrom – Oshie
Vrana – Kuznetsov – Wilson
Stephenson – Eller – Panik
Leipsic – Hathaway

Kempny – Carlson
Orlov – Gudas
Siegenthaler – Jensen

Caps goal songs
