Alex Ovechkin had a special guest in Philadelphia for the Capitals game against the Flyers Wednesday. Nastya, his wife, was sitting in the lower bowl. And she seemed to have a very good time.
Nastya got to experience Gritty, arguably the best mascot in sports, for the first time.
She also got to share a special moment with Ovi at the end of the game.

After the Capitals pulled out a 2-1 shootout win, they jumped off the bench to congratulate Braden Holtby in the defensive zone. As Ovechkin did so, he located Nastya in the crowd. He waved and then blew her a kiss.
The waving between Ovi and Nastya is a tradition that goes back years.
These two are so cute, you guys.
