For the Ovechkins, the gr8est days of the summer all end in 8.
For instance, on Monday, the Ovechkins celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary on Instagram by posting photos of themselves together with captions celebrating their love.
“Two years since our wedding, there has been a lot of joy, smiling, kindness, and happiness! Thank you, my dear, for giving me this every day! I love you very much, my sweet girl,” Ovi wrote.
“Happy family, love, and faithfulness day, dear 🙏🏻❤️ Also happy anniversary to us 🥰 08.07.2017,” Nasta wrote. She added so none of her followers would get confused, “P.S. – This is a photo from last year 😁 I am not pregnant.”
The Ovechkins’ 2017 wedding was a crazy two-day, nine-RMNB-posts celebration that included fireworks, gifts from the Russian President, and cameos by Alex Semin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Dmitry Orlov.
But the Barvikha celebration went next level when Ovi jumped on stage shirtless and performed Boney M’s Rasputin. Later he joined a conga line.
The two first met at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The couple got in touch again years later when Ovi sent Nastya a direct message on Instagram. Nastya flew to Los Angeles while the Capitals were on a west coast swing and the two eventually fell in love.
Years later they got married. The couple had their first child on August 18, 2018, a son they named Sergei after Ovi’s older brother.
