We’ve documented the luxuriousness of Alex Ovechkin’s recent wedding. Here’s another fabulous wrinkle.
The Russian couple had several wedding videos produced by PartyVision – except I feel like the word video is not really capturing the essence how incredible these are. For instance, one of the movies, which documents the Ovechkins’ love story, is entirely animated.
Videos
The first movie, entitled Love Story, features epic music, drone footage, and about 30 costume changes, one of which includes Ovi in cargo shorts. The video takes place in Sochi, Russia.
The second animated short delves more into the background of Alex and Nastya’s relationship. Alex and Nastya first met at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The couple got in touch again years later when Ovi sent Nastya a direct message on Instagram. Nastya flew to Los Angeles while the Capitals were on a west coast swing and the two eventually fell in love. According to the video, Ovechkin appears to have done a surprise proposal to Nastya after she showered and was getting ready for her day. The song featured in this video is Youth (Gryffin Remix) by Australian-based singer Troye Sivan.
The third video focuses on the wedding ceremony held at Barvikha Luxury Village. The beautiful couple says their I dos while rain gently falls in the background. As the couple walks away, Ovi holds up a tiny umbrella for Nastya and, oh man, that is so cute.
Alex and Nastya also had professional photos taken together before the wedding by Andrey Nastasenko, who is very talented.
