Friday afternoon, the Washington Capitals announced the number Richard Panik will wear with the team next season.
The forward has picked number 14. He will be the first regular Capitals player to don the digits since Justin Williams did so from 2015-2017.
Panik also wore number 14 during his time with the Arizona Coyotes.
