Over the weekend, the 2019 Draft was held in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hundreds of teenage hockey players realized their dream and were drafted into the NHL. But arguably a bigger dream was realized in Bethesda, Maryland, where Leni Oshie turned three-years-old.
The Oshie family held Leni’s birthday party at Badlands Playspace and the party was epic.
There was a T-Rex dance party, a T-Rex birthday cake (that probably should be put in the Louvre), and a pink Mercedes-Benz big wheel.

Lauren Oshie, who I’m guessing planned this genius party, documented the celebration on Instagram.
There was more on her Instagram Story. Leni danced with a T-Rex.
Older sister Lyla rolled down a makeshift hill in a sparkly tube.
But then – oh my god – Leni drove a big wheel. Look at this presence.
And then there was the birthday cake. The cake was designed by Lara Halabi of Fluffy Thoughts Cakes, who was named by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the top 63 pastry pros in the nation. The pink cake featured dinosaurs, including a T-Rex and a brontosaurus figurine, and LENI’s name in gold glitter.

After being sung happy birthday by the group, Leni needed approximately 100 tries to blow out the final candle but she did it!
Both mom and dad had sweet things to say about their adorable, carbs-loving daughter.
TJ said of Leni that she is “the funniest and most loving little girl in the world.”
From everybody here at RMNB, happy birthday Leni. Don’t tell your parents, but we think you are the coolest Oshie of all.
