The Washington Capitals had a special guest at practice on Wednesday morning after a two-day layoff.

TJ Oshie, who retired this past June, watched the team’s skate from the Capitals bench, staying for about a half an hour.

Oshie, wearing a Warroad cap and khakis, could be seen chatting with trainers and other players as they skated off the ice.

Since retiring, Oshie has kept himself busy, serving as a contributor to Monumental Sports Network and a studio analyst for ESPN’s national coverage of games.

RMNB is not associated with the Washington Capitals; Monumental Sports, the NHLPA, the NHL, or its properties. Not even a little bit.
