During the Capitals’ historic 2018 Stanley Cup run, one of the most popular events outside of the games themselves were the viewing parties that the team hosted at Capital One Arena when the Caps were on the road. Tickets for the championship-deciding Game 5 in Vegas sold out in minutes and crashed Ticketmaster.
On Wednesday morning the team announced that the viewing parties will return to Capital One Arena, starting Thursday night as the Caps take on the Hurricanes in Game Four of their playoff series. Doors will open at 6:30, with the game beginning at 7 pm.
Admission is free via the F Street entrance, and no ticket is required, though fans are asked to RSVP on the Capitals’ website here for an approximate headcount. A drink special from 6:30-7 featuring $5 beers will also be available.
The Washington Capitals will host a Game 4 Viewing Party Thursday, April 18, at Capital One Arena.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the game between the Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes broadcast on the jumbotron at 7 p.m.#ALLCAPS #CapsCanes https://t.co/S5LpYyiWo6
