Anyone up for hockey under the stars?
The Washington Capitals will be hosting a viewing party at Gateway Park in Rosslyn, Virginia, for Game One of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The game is on Friday, May 11 and starts at 8pm. The park event begins an hour before the game.
Fans will be able to watch the game on a 40-foot screen, as well as meet and greet with mascot Slapshot and the Red Rockers.
Gateway Park is located at 1300 Lee Highway, Base of Key Bridge, Arlington, VA.
Fans are encouraged to bring a blanket and/or lawn chair to watch the game. In the event of inclement weather, any updated about the party will be made through the Caps’ twitter account, @Capitals.
