At first glance, one might think that All-Stars Braden Holtby and Hardest Shot winner John Carlson had the best vacation of all the Washington Capitals. You would be wrong.

Cayo Santa María, Cuba – Our illustrious captain swam with his baby, danced with his family, and rode a friggin’ dolphin.
Nicklas Backstrom & John Carlson
Miami, FL – High school reunions are universally terrible but this ex-Capitals reunion is lovely. The Backstroms and Carlsons reunited with Mike Green for an extended-family vacation.
TJ Oshie
Orlando, FL – In another former Caps reunion, TJ Oshie took his family to Disney World with the Alzners. The families are close due to Lyla Oshie’s and Stella Alzner’s close friendship. Back when TJ and Karl were still living in the area, the two kids were inseparable, routinely going on play dates together.
Madison Bowey
Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo – Bowey went snorkeling for the first time ever with his girlfriend MacKenzie. They also posted several Instagram photos that look too good to be real. 🧐
Dmitrij Jaskin, Dmitry Orlov, and Ilya Samsonov
Miami, FL – The Caps Russians (and honorary Russian) hung out together in Miami. Samsonov even met Salt Bae. Nothing better than chillin’ with your special person in a special place in a special Batya 1000 snapback.
Jakub Vrana, Andre Burakovsky, & DSP
Miami, FL – Like a majority of the team, the three amigos vacationed in Miami too along with Burakovsky’s sister Alexandra and her boyfriend Seb Molldén. Or should I say, fiance!
Tom Wilson
A golf course somewhere. – Taylor Pischke might have a harder swing than Tom Wilson. We’re a little scared. Good luck with Team Canada please don’t hit us.
