Monday morning, Bud Light tweeted out a new promotional item that will let you recreate TJ Oshie‘s, uh, unique celebration from the Stanley Cup win.
The t-shirt says “2018 World Champions” on the front, but is designed to reveal the words “Lets go Caps” when flipped up over the wearer’s head, TJ Oshie-style.
.@Capitals fans, there’s nothing quite like pulling a championship jersey over your head and drinking a Bud Light through it. A close second, you can pull this shirt over your head and take a drink of Bud Light through it! Pick yours up at bars during this week’s rematch game. pic.twitter.com/9EEYmEyX9T

Here are the shirts with the hidden “Lets Go Caps” message:
The reference pays tribute to the iconic moment during the Capitals Championship parade, when Oshie was called to the stage and drank an entire Bud Light through his flipped-up jersey. He first showed off the party trick at Nats Park, then repeated it at a celebrity golf tournament, and at a private party later in the summer.

A custom bobblehead was even made of the celebration. RMNB made our own shirt design.
Bud Light also has a new ad placement at Capital One Arena, which is directly in front of the visiting penalty box, labeled “Pit of Misery.”

The medieval-style promotion was complemented with this tweet at the start of the season, written in the style of a royal proclamation and comments of the Capitals’ beer-soaked celebrations: “Even more impressive is the sheer quantity of my Royal Light Lager that did floweth across thy capital district. For months on end, my brewmasters had to work double shifts just to keep up.”
.@Capitals of Washington, before your season gets underway, King John Barley IV would like to share a few words. pic.twitter.com/RcAiLu3Vuz
