More congratulations may be in order for Sergei Shumakov, who is having one heck of a weekend! After officially signing with the Capitals on Saturday, it appears that the Russian winger proposed on Sunday while wearing an Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey.
Shumakov shared a video on his Instagram where he goes down on one knee and puts a ring on a woman’s finger before embracing her. The caption says “Yes.”
