Andre Burakovsky’s day with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of Malmo, Sweden would not have been complete without the Capitals newest tradition: the Cup stand.
Burakovksy completed the feat at Moosehead Bar with an assist from his trainer, Jonas Morin, and his barber, Seb Mollden.
Fellow brobean Tom Wilson took Burakovsky’s Cup stand as an opportunity to roast his former roommate, calling him a “fish out of water.”
Burakovsky also met up with Jakub Vrana to close out his day with the Cup.

Burakovsky’s Cup stand follows in the footsteps of:
- Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Dmitry Orlov, who shared the moment together in Moscow, Russia.
- Shane Gersich, who was supported by T.J. Oshie.
- Capitals’ head amateur scout Steve Bowman
- Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, who was supported by Alex Ovechkin and Braden Holtby.
