Capitals scout Steve Bowman does Cup stand, eats catered food from Qdoba during Stanley Cup day

Saturday, Capitals head amateur scout, Steve Bowman, had his day with the Stanley Cup in London, Ontario.

The scout, who is from the hockey-famous Bowman family, is the nephew of Scotty Bowman. After the Caps won their first Stanley Cup championship as a franchise in June, Bowman became the third member of the family to have his name etched on the championship trophy. The Bowmans have won the Stanley Cup 18 different times (Scotty, 14; Stan, 3; and Steve, 1).

Steve celebrated by doing a Cup stand in his backyard.

That is tremendous form.

Bowman became a Stanley Cup champion after being a scout for the Caps for two decades.

I’m also proud to inform y’all that Qdoba, which serves much tastier Mexican food than Chipotle, catered Bowman’s party. (Don’t @ me.)

On Bowman’s personal Twitter account, he also posted two photos after the Caps’ Stanley Cup victory in Las Vegas. A certain Russian machine crashed the scouts’ group photo.

Bowman also held up the Cup.

Here are some more photos from Bowman’s big day in London.
